Dear 4N & Parents,

There are lots of different games and activities which you can explore on this website. All of the spelling lists we learn from the Nelson text book are also here. You will notice that the voice has an American accent. However, the spelling lists I have prepared for you do not use American English spelling, but you might come across some American spellings in the various games, such as favorite, color, center etc. If you are unsure if a particular word is English or American spelling, use a dictionary to check, or ask me or your parents. Looking up words in a dictionary is a key skill that you all need to improve, so it will be excellent practice to continue to do this alongside any computer-based activity.

You will still need to write out your spellings in your red book and practise using Look, Say, Cover, Write, Check.
